Back in Kaunas together with Committee Member Nikos Tzanakos from Patras, Greece during the 2017 International Children's Games in Lithuania - Ioannis in the middle

By the end of 2021 our congratulations go to 19 year old Ioannis Kariofillis from Evrotas, Greece who participated in the 2017 International Children's Games in Kaunaus - Track & Field. In Kaunas he won a bronze medal in the 100 m race.

Today Ioannis is the best Greek athlete over 200 m having won the national championship.

More steps of his athletic career after ICG:

July 2019: Ioannis finishes 5th at the European Youth Olympic Festival in the 200 m race.

July 2021 Ioannis participates in the European U19 Championship in Tallinn and reaches 8th place with the 4x100 m relay team.

August 2021: Ioannis participates in the U19 World Championship in Nairobi and reaches 6th place with the 4x100 m relay team.
