The Committee of the International Children's Games is happy to announce that the International Children's Summer Games 2021 will be hosted by the City of Daegu, South Korea.
The decission to have Daegu as a host of International Children's Games for the second time after very succesful Games in 2012 was taken by the ICG Committee at Lake Placid, USA during the 8th Winter Games in January 2019.
The Games in Korea will take place from July 8 to July 13 2021.
Competitions will be offered in eight sports:
- Athletics/Track and Field
- Basketball (3x3)

The Committee of the International Children's Games whishes to thank Lake Placid for having hosted the first ever International Children’s Winter Games (ICWG) in the USA.
The Games have been an incredible experience for athletes, coaches, heads of delegation, and city representatives.
With the International Children's Winter Games 2019 ICG's mission — fostering friendship and mutual understanding amongst children aged 12 to 15 from all over the world — has been fully accomplished!
We are more than happy that the wonderful city of Lake Placid, USA has become a member of the ICG family!

As our friend Lina Duobaitė from the beautiful city of Kaunas / Lithuania reports, Agnė Šeleikaitė, who was a participant in the International Children's Games 2014 in Lake MacQuarie / Australia, has won a gold medal in 50 m breaststroke at the Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games.With her success she follows in the footsteps of another great ex-ICG particpant from Lithuana, Rūta Meilutytė.

Tseng Chun-hsin (born 2001) is a Taiwanese tennis player and member of the Chinese Taipei Davis Cup team.
He has been a participant and two times gold medal winner in the International Children's Games 2016 in New Taipei City.
The Committee of the International Children's Games congratulates Tseng Chun-hsin who has won two Junior Grand Slam finals this year - French Open and Wimbledon!
